Manitoba, Canada resident Jordan Carruthers was looking up at the sky when he noticed a bright fireball appear Saturday, April 15 at 9:17 p.m.

Carruthers quickly grabbed his phone out of his pocket and began filming as the object shot across the sky. It then disappeared behind the clouds.

Carruthers told Newsflare: "I'm not sure if it's a meteor, or simply some space junk burning up in the atmosphere, but with the Lyrid meteor shower beginning April 15, I'm willing to bet it was a meteor."

Around 9:17pm on Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
