Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, together with the secretaries of state for Education, Renato Feder, and for Public Security, Guilherme Derrite, announce a package with public policies to increase the safety of the school community throughout the State.

The novelties were presented this Thursday during the visit to the Thomazia Montoro State School. Under the Sao Paulo State Department of Education (Seduc-SP), R$ 240 million will be invested in hiring 550 psychologists and 1,000 private security guards to work in state schools. In addition to expanding the number of teachers with exclusive hours to deal with coexistence issues and updating the Conviva Platform – Placon, a place for recording school occurrences in the state school network of Sao Paulo.
