A motorist recorded as they drove through submerged streets in Norman County, Minnesota, as floods hit the state.

The Newsflare member said: "This is a video of a coworker and I driving back from work. All the roads were closed so she decided to take another route that did not see the roads were closed and then she got to the section in Norman County, Minnesota.

"Just one of many clips I got today trying to get home here is an outside view of a flooded home in Norman County.

"What was supposed to be a one-hour commute turned into a 2.5-hour ordeal.

"I came upon this backhoe operator clearing a massive log jam as I was trying to find an open road to get home! Flooding from the melting snow in Minnesota carried a bunch of fallen trees and block off this bridge area."

Yesterday, on Fri Apr 14 2023, I faced multiple flooded roads during my drive home as a result of heavy snowfall this season. This road was among them. After a week of warm temperatures, the flooding had worsened. Consequently, what was supposed to be a one-hour commute turned into a 2.5-hour ordeal.
