Birthday Wish Comes True – Man Dressed As Gandalf Meets Ian McKellen

This man dressed as Gandalf experienced an unbelievable moment where he met actor Sir Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf in the Lord of the Ring films.
Felix Spencer, 21, is a student at the University of Bristol and he captured the moment his friend, Ben Coyles, dressed as Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings met Sir Ian McKellen in Bristol on Thursday 13th of April.
Ian McKellen played the character of Gandalf in the film adaptations of The Lord of the Rings and McKellen's portrayal of Gandalf was widely praised and is considered one of his most iconic roles, which made this encounter unbelievably special.
Before the encounter the pair were celebrating Ben’s birthday with a group of friends and were on a three day event raising awareness for a charity gig hosted by Ben's girlfirned, Angel Hornsby-Smith.
They were raising money for the charity MND and ME, a foundation that supports people and their families living with Motor Neurone Disease .
