An escaped cow rampaged through a family's home and tried to attack a mother.

The angry farm animal wandered into the property before mum Sontaya tried to scare it away by shouting in Chumphon province, Thailand on April 16.

But instead of leaving, the annoyed creature approached the woman and charged at her.

CCTV footage shows the furious animal storming to the home's front porch and chasing Sontaya.

The terrified mum-of-one said: ‘My cat already sensed something wrong with the cow and left. I was so scared it would hurt me.'

Sontaya rushed back inside the house while the cow lingered for a while in their yard looking for her.

Soon after four men including the cow's owner arrived to catch it. The animal was returned to the farm while no on was hurt.
