This enraged woman took matters into her own hand when she was deceived out of her proposed accommodation on Airbnb and confronted the property owner.

Samantha Belanger, 27, from Jacksonville, Florida, had enough of her airbnb scammer not answering her calls so she did some research and found the fake Airbnb account owner’s name, birthdate and parent's address.

Samantha and her friends were going to a music festival, and had booked an Airbnb two months prior. They were confident that they could trust the owner as he had what seemed like reliable reviews. 

The trip took a quick turn when the Airbnb host stopped responding to any questions that the group had, for example, where to park or how to get into the building.

When they arrived, none of the door codes he had given worked and he didn’t answer any of their calls.

The neighbour came out and explained that a couple experienced the same thing the previous night. 

After coming to the realisation that they were falsely sold the room, Samantha managed to find all of him information on Google. She sent him a text message containing his real address, 

The scammer called her back immediately and Samantha expressed her anger which is captured in her footage.

Airbnb refunded them and paid for a percent of their hotel room for the next night.

The clip was posted to TikTok gathering 19.5 million views.

Samantha said: "My friend had enough of our airbnb scammer not answering our calls so she took matters into her own hands and did some research when we didn’t know.

"Everyone loves it and agrees it’s hotels only from here moving forward."
