New Balance has closed its stores in Thailand after its contract with a local distributor ended.

The sports giant from from Boston, Massachusetts, had previously sold its goods in the tariff-heavy Southeast Asian kingdom using local firm CRC Sports, a subsidiary of Central Retail Corporation.

Their agreement ended and New Balance is yet to renew the contract or find a new importer.

Footage shows customers buying rescued items at the New Balance store in the Central Rama 9 mall in Bangkok on Tuesday shortly before it closed.
