Live Burn Firefighter training, Montoursville, PA
This is a live burn ensuring that the firefighters in attendance meet the Pennsylvania minimum standard for Firefighter's.

Citizens receive lower hazard insurance when firefighters meet the 1987 minimum standard.

On Saturday April 29, 2023 Montoursville and surrounding Fire Department members met for a live burn training.

Firefighters had used the last over the last year for a multitude of trainings.

With the property to be demolished for future property use crews spent the morning preforming several different live fire exercises on the upper floors before moving to the first floor of the structure.

After all the training was complete crews set up for defensive monitoring and control while allowing the structure to free burn to the ground.
