Footage shows the eight-year-old jumbo Raja Buri swaying around while flapping its ears to traditional music in Ratchaburi province on April 22.
Raja Buri's caretaker was seen beside him, holding a long whip as they appeared to bop together.
The gentle creature even does tricks for tourists and interacts with children.
Thailand has an estimated 2,000 Asian elephants living in the wild - down from 100,000 a century ago - and around 3,000 in captivity owned privately.
