Royal fans have been sleeping in tents along the mall outside Buckingham Palace to ensure they get front row seats for the upcoming coronation of King Charles.

Footage from this morning (May 5th) shows rows of tents laid out while people staked out their spots across the procession route.

When heavy rain broke out, the determined fans even cheered in the face of the downpour.

The filmer commented: "I captured the walk down and the hundreds of colourful tents that adorn the street. Tourists from Canada, America, France, Germany, Spain and Italy are amongst those I encountered on the eve of this historic event."

Enthusiasts who have been camping outside Buckingham palace for several days now to try and get front row seats for the coronation were battered by torrential downpour- but this didn't dampen their spirits as they could be seen singing and cheering even as the heavens opened!
