We booked an apartment in birmingham (the hallmark - 10 Hampton street B193LG) for our friends 18 birthday, we arrived and the door was unlocked, we walk in to see it all trashed. We booked it through booking.com and we called the owner and she said she would “send a cleaner” we replied “a cleaner won’t help this we need somewhere new to stay”! We called booking.com and they said there isn’t anything they can do, we called the host back and she had blocked us. We had to get a brand new apartment and still waiting for our deposit and money back from the trashed apartment.
