This is the dramatic moment an electric transformer exploded due to a storm while a customer was collecting noodles at a restaurant in Thailand.

The delivery courier was waiting for the food to be prepared while heavy rain battered the steakhouse in Chonburi province on April 25.

As he stood to take his order from the counter, the transformer exposed to the harsh weather suddenly exploded and burst into flames.

The rider called staff to check the burning transformer while backing away.
