"You don't hate it, you just don't understand it" is the underlying message of this heartwarming video.

The clip features an enthusiastic dog named Franklin trying to "bite" the water coming out of a sprinkler. While this activity may not be novel, what makes this instance interesting is the fact that Franklin used to be afraid of water.

"I adopted Franklin two years ago," the filmer Jenelle Werle told WooGlobe. "Last year, he wouldn't go near water. We've been experiencing a heat wave over the last few days, so I put the sprinkler on to water the grass. Franklin ran over and started playing in the sprinkler. He ran around for over an hour, having fun in the water."
