This cockatoo adores his little human brother and the inseparable pair do everything together. 

Grietje Vermoortele, 37, from Belgium, has been documenting her cockatoo Marni's interactions with son Remi and their brotherly bond. 

Marni and Remi do a range of activities together and are often captured playing, eating and even waking his little brother up from his naps.

Grietje grew up around parrots, and has always wanted a cockatoo, so eventually she bought Marni when he was just eight weeks old. 

Cockatoos are highly social and intelligent birds who are known for their strong bonds with their owners and often seek attention.

Marni was initially jealous of his baby brother but he soon fell in love with Remi. 

Grietje explained that she took precautions in the early stages of Marni and Remi’s friendship. 

She supervised the pair closely as cockatoos can bite and be unpredictable but now Marni seems to be a member of the family and is involved in most special moments.

The clips of the pair have accumulated over 16 million views on Instagram.
