This man came home to every dog owner’s nightmare after discovering his partner had inadvertently left the door open giving his mischievous dogs free rein, unleashing chaos.

Luke Tivendale,  28, resident of Melbourne, Australia, captured the footage after realising the sheer magnitude of the mess when he returned home from work.

To the owner’s dismay, he was greeted by a floor covered in flour and his scattered washing added to the disarray. 

The unruly culprits, Lester and Harper, had taken particular interest in a newspaper, tearing it to shreds and leaving remnants strewn across the room.

Unfortunately for Luke, his pantry had become the epicentre of destruction. Items from the pantry, including sauce bottles, dry foods, and tins, were scattered throughout the living room.

After ensuring the safety of all the animals involved, he couldn't resist capturing the unbelievable scene on camera. 

Luke said: “I had to film this, no one would believe how bad this was.”

Despite the major inconvenience, this hilarious episode gathered a reaction from social media with many shocked by the sheer scale of the mess. The clip was posted to TikTok, amassing 1.6 million views.
