Rockets shelled the Russian town of Shebekino in the Belgorod region, near the border with Ukraine, on May 31.

This footage shows a local barbershop hit by the strike with its windows shuttered and its cladding damaged.

Russia has blamed Ukraine for the recent attacks in the Belgorod region, but the country has rejected the accusations.

The Russian Volunteer Corps, a paramilitary group of anti-Putin partisans, said they conducted the raid on the town.

Shebekino, a town located in Russia, experienced a distressing attack as Ukrainian troops fired upon its center and outskirts using Grad rockets on 31st May, 2023.

Video footage captured the aftermath of the attack, revealing a building with its windows shuttered and damaged walls. The targeted building housed a barbershop, which bore the brunt of the assault, with its windows shattered and parts of its walls destroyed. The extent of the damage inflicted upon other structures in Shebekino remains unclear at this time. Governor Gladkov emphasized that despite the absence of enemy forces within the Belgorod region, the area continues to face relentless shelling.
