Brainless Mortuary UK
By Shannine O’Neill
**EXCLUSIVE**
THIS HAUNTED abandoned mortuary is thought to be filled with ghosts after the building was shut down because bungling workers returned a body to its family without A BRAIN.
Images of embalming certificates of real people were taken by a British photographer with death records were also found by the explorer, stating the autopsy reports of real people who are said to now haunt this forbidding place.
Ben James (32) from Cambridge, England explored this abandoned mortuary in Belfast, Northern Ireland that locals say is haunted.
Ben had explored the mortuary, which has been abandoned since 2017, after it allegedly shut down because of a body being returned to their family without a brain.
After around two hours of exploring, Ben felt that the building felt incredibly creepy and even heard bangs from different rooms and what sounded like a man crying, even though he was alone in the building.
Ben found many creepy things that have been left behind, such as embalming certificates and autopsy records of real people who have gone through the mortuary.
Ben even found what he described as a “burial suit” in the freezer.
“The coolest thing about the place is that it still has some of the death certificates and the ambulance certificates,” he said.
“There was even a burial suit in the freezer.
“It’s been abandoned for about seven years.
“It's due to them returning a body back to a family with the brain missing apparently and it was never found.”
Ben had heard that the building was haunted from local tales, but experienced unexplained bangs and cries within the building himself.
“It’s definitely haunted,” he said.
“The locals have heard noises and screams at night.
“It felt very dark in there and I heard bangs in the next room that couldn’t be explained.
“I also heard what sounded like a man crying.”
