THRILLING footage of a Brit photographer’s narrow escape from a shark that appeared to want to face off with him have been captured.
Video and images show the shark heading and getting to within inches to the protective cage where the photographer stood trying to capture the shark.
At one point, the shark got literally face to face with the brave photographer.
A great white shark weighs 5,000 pounds on an average and can go upto 23 feet long.
These images were captured by London-born filmmaker and photographer Euan Rannachan (36) with a Nikon D850 in a Aquatech water housing at Guadalupe Island about 120 miles off the coast of Mexico.
“I captured this footage when we were at Guadalupe island,” said Euan.
“It was an unforgettable encounter with the king of the ocean.
“I was very excited because of the position of the boat and where the sun made it so I could see through the water really easily.”
