Watch this brave duo rescue a kangaroo that was stranded on a cliffside in Sunnyville, South Australia, on May 15.

Footage shows the friends spot the animal wandering around below a cliff surrounded by a body of water.

They then sprang into action and decided to rescue the kangaroo.

The filmer said: "Four months after the 2023 South Australia River Murray floods, a kangaroo was reported to us stranded and living on a cliff side.

"It took us two hours to carefully get him into the water so we could nab him and release him back onto dry safe land. He had been fed by other boats and no one was able to catch him as it was too dangerous."
