Clashes erupted between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians following a raid carried out by Israel in Nablus in the occupied West Bank on June 15.

A 20-year-old Palestinian man named Khalil Yehya Anis was killed after being shot in the head, and two others were injured.

The Red Crescent said 170 people were treated after being exposed to teargas during the raid. It also claims that two ambulances were hit by tear gas and shot at by soldiers to prevent evacuating injured people from certain areas.

According to local sources, the house of Usama Tawil, who was arrested on February 13 for killing a soldier, was demolished this morning when the army surrounded Nablus's Rafidya neighborhood. His parents and sister are now displaced.

With the killing of Anis, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces has reached 161. It includes 26 children.
