The storm was 5 miles away from the Bixby/Tulsa, OK area around 12:15am whenever I decided to go out to get some food. As I went outside and rounded the corner the strengthened to a staggering 97mph wind gusts based off of my handheld wind gauge. It got stronger as it went through Tulsa, OK and tearing up trees in my neighborhood. Luckily no fatalities but there was a lot of damage to trees, cars, and homes. The storm also had impressive hail that was about 3 inches that I was able to measure once I ran back inside house.
