STORYLINE:

An Egyptian expert has said Chinese initiatives greatly promote global development and help the world restore its balance.

He said more countries are putting confidence in the initiatives that brought tangible fruits without any political strings attached.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Arabic): AHMED AL-SAEED, Chairman of Egypt's Bayt Al-Hekma Cultural Group
"China believes that when development happens in each country, all reach the level of a win-win situation. There are a large number of Chinese projects that are expanding in the world. These projects benefit many countries and offer them genuine development by creating job opportunities and improving local communities and infrastructure."

He pointed out that China, in the past ten years, has been putting forward a series of mechanism and initiatives that aim to boost global cooperation, most notably the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

SOUNDBITE 2 (Arabic): AHMED AL-SAEED, Chairman of Egypt's Bayt Al-Hekma Cultural Group
"In the last 10 years, China has had a positive global presence through the Belt and Road Initiative, infrastructure projects, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and its sponsorship of many international conferences on economic development. China is restoring the international balance, moving the world from unipolarity to multipolarity, and this benefits global development because it gives hope to third-world countries and developing countries that a change is possible. Global trust in China increases every year because it always proves that its speech is compatible with its international behavior, and this makes the world believe more in Chinese initiatives, which leads to the participation of more countries in these initiatives."
