A tourist flew over a quad bike handlebars and landed in a muddy puddle.

Footage shows the adventurous holidaymaker Giovana Alexa Bardillon trying out the dirt trail on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in Rizal province, the Philippines on May 27.

Giovana was being assisted by a local and even slowed down before approaching the flooded pit for safety.

But instead of moving across, the vehicle bumped and she was thrown off head first diving into the water in an amusing fail captured on camera by her friend.

She said: ‘I will never forget that time. I am thankful for my guide for quickly helping me out.'

Despite the adventure park blooper, Giovana said she was not seriously hurt and laughed off the incident with friends.
