Love was in the air as Minita and Darian embarked on a flight from Atlanta to Cancun for a friend's wedding on June 21. With plans to propose at a resort, Darian hoped to keep the surprise away from the spotlight of the soon-to-be-wed couple. However, fate had other ideas when a conversation with a fellow passenger caught the attention of a Delta flight attendant.

Seated separately on the plane, Darian found himself engaged in a conversation about their destination. When he revealed his intentions to propose in Cancun, the nearby flight attendant overheard and saw an opportunity for a unique in-flight proposal. The flight attendant suggested that Darian pop the question right there on the plane, with their assistance through signs and gestures.

As Minita sat a few seats away, the flight attendant approached her, intending to bring her closer to the surprise. However, a slight miscommunication led Minita to head to the restroom instead. Sensing the moment slipping away, Darian seized the opportunity and proceeded with his heartfelt proposal.

But sitting in the plane, (Minita & Darian were sitting in separate seats and separate rows) a woman he met asked him why is he headed to Cancun, he explained to propose in Cancun, and a Delta flight attendant overhear. They suggested he propose on the plane and the flight attendant can help with signs. As Minita was sitting a few seats away, the flight attendant asked her to go with her but she ended up going to the restroom instead. Thats when where Darian took his chance to propose
