Japan: Seasonal Rain Front Brings Downpours, Causing Flooding In Southwestern Region 2
Bands of heavy rain clouds developed as a seasonal rain front swept across western and northern Japan, causing downpours and flooding in the southwestern region on Saturday, July 1.
Heavy rains caused flooding in parts of Yamaguchi and Fukuoka Prefecture. The Japan Metrological Agency warned of landslides and more flooding.
