Storms rolling through the US Northeast brought torrential rains and inundated cities and towns in Pennsylvania and New York on Sunday, July 9.

Streets and roads in many parts of the 2 states were underwater floodwater, impacting traffic. In Orange County, New York, some homes along the Hudson River were hit by fast-flowing floodwater.

All the northbound lanes of I-476 were flooded in Conshohocken, PA, and Philadelphia International Airport reported delays of up to two and a half hours.
