A pair of jolly Pikachu mascots danced in the rain.

Footage shows the two large bright yellow anime characters playing around the street in Baguio City, the Philippines on April 11.

The mascots, inspired from the Japanese show Pokemon, were worn by buskers entertaining tourists at the famed mountain destination.

But when the downpour started, the duo began chasing each other around the area, drawing amusement from both locals and holidaymakers.

Onlooker Rupert Rupert Francis Del Rosario said: ‘There's always something new to see here. That time, the giant Pikachus danced in the rain.'
