A K-Max Helicopter battled the devastating flat fire in Oregon, sourcing water from the tranquil Game Lake to aid containment efforts.

The aerial asset is seen tirelessly ferrying life-saving water to the raging inferno, making precise drops on the southern boundary, just two miles southeast of Agness, OR on July 27.

The airborne arsenal, tasked with arresting the fire's eastward advance, also dispatched water buckets across the southeastern perimeter. This air support was key to taming the relentless flames, creating a protective barrier preventing further spread.

On the ground, brave firefighters seized favourable weather conditions to conduct firing operations, securing critical control lines. To bolster their efforts, a squad of four elite rappellers were seen addressing a minor spot fire with negligible activity along the southeastern flank.

This intricate dance between air and ground units, executed with remarkable precision, has yielded tangible results. Heat areas have been effectively cooled and the wildfire is now under effective management.
