This is the chaotic moment a mass brawl erupted among hungry customers at a hot pot noodle restaurant in Thailand.

Diners were waiting in the queue when several allegedly drunk customers barged in at the Chinda Hot Pot Wongwian Yai branch in the capital Bangkok at around midnight on August 11.

The rowdy group reportedly took another man's place in the queue when he momentarily stepped away from his seat, sparking the argument that escalated into a physical altercation.

Footage shows a woman and two men in white and green shirts pummeling and stomping on a male customer wearing a tank top outside the restaurant.

The man in the green shirt then used a plastic stool to brutally whack his opponents before concerned onlookers and staff broke up the fight.

Local media reported that one of the men named Moo suffered an eye injury and also had to get eight stitches.

He told reporters the other party had called him for mediation, but said he was determined to pursue legal action against his attackers.

A shocked witness said: 'I was enjoying my food then the fight started. It was quite scary. Those men really wanted to get noodles that night.

'The restaurant staff were very good. They calmed the situation and stopped it from getting worse.'
