2023's Super Blue Moon dazzled across the evening sky on Thursday, August 31.

This second full moon in a month, called a blue moon, coincided with the moon being closer to Earth in its orbit making it appear larger, hence a supermoon. The next time this rare phenomenon will occur will be in 2037.

This video was captured in the sky around Naha Airport, Okinawa, Japan, just before 8:00 p.m.
