What I've just enjoyed was a multiplayer battle game in the metaverse, which has attracted batches of visitors.

The field of play is built inside an abandoned blast furnace in Shougang Park, the once-largest steelmaker in Beijing. With the help of digital technology, the "heat" of the old building has returned.

"The highlight of our game is that we have applied 5G+XR edge computing technology. It means that the gamer doesn't need to carry a heavy computer backpack. With only a pair of VR glasses, we can realize the battle.
And we have newly released the remote battle technology in the metaverse. For example, the player in Beijing can realize remote battle with another player from thousands of miles away if they put on the VR glasses at the same time and enter the same virtual setting."

According to Pan, the edge computing technology has also been applied in many other sectors including sports, tourism, emergency handling, and among others.

AIGC, the abbreviation for Artificial Intelligence Generated Content, is a buzzword in vogue today.

AIGC refers to the use of AI technology to generate content. For example, when we deal with images, we can easily get an awesome ID photo or a stylish portrait painting by AIGC, without hiring a photographer or a painter.

In this way, it can greatly save cost while producing pictures based on your instruction.

Here at Shougang Park, the venue of the CIFTIS, the operation of the park and basic services are supported by leading technologies.

The information and coordination works at Shougang Park are run by a China's self-developed operating system named KyLin.

This year is the third time for Kylinsoft to participate in the fair.

"We have many products that are applied in some mega-projects which make Chinese proud, such as China's Mars probe Tianwen which successfully landed on Mars, the Chang'e lunar probes which landed on the moon, and even the Wentian lab module and the Shenzhou spacecraft which are now operating in the space."

According to Li, KyLin has also developed multilingual versions in a bid to attract more customers abroad.

2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services concluded Wednesday in Beijing.

9,100+ exhibitors online and offline and 280,000 visitors joined the exhibition.

Over 1,100 fruitful results have been achieved.
