This is how mixed concrete is distributed by hand using great teamwork. A human chain using plastic buckets transports the mixed concrete from the mixer truck to where it is needed. Its a cheap alternative to using heavy expensive machinery but is very labor intensive. Some of these workers are female, the safety standards are pretty poor. It's hard work in hot weather. They wear extra clothing in order to protect from the sun.
