An interesting video from China of a huge dendrobium-flavoured rice cake that was declared to be the world largest by The Guinness World Records at its deputy.

The footage, filmed by a local resident in Xiamen, Fujian Province on Thursday, shows curious visitors taking photos with the giant rice cake after it is displayed in a special hall.

According to local news, the rice cake piled in a 2.9m pyramid was made of 6.8 tons of rice powder, 4.8 tons of sugar and 80 kilograms of dendrobium powder, with a maximum diameter of 3 metres. It cost more than one million yuan (£100,000) and was due to be shared by nearly 30,000 people.
