"I first came to China in 2005, mainly to buy raw material for fruit yogurt produced in Japan.
At that time, I felt that China was developing at a really fast pace. China's products are good, and the high-speed railway is convenient. And I believe that China will develop even faster in the future."

In 2020, Yuzawa was dispatched to Tianjin by the company to prepare for the construction of a new factory there.

With a total investment of 705 million yuan (97 million U.S. dollars), the factory is now put into operation, with main products like milk and yogurt.

SOUNDBITE 2 (Japanese): NOBUKAZU YUZAWA, Executive Vice President, Meiji Dairies (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.
"China's industrialization level is also very high, especially the application of China's IT technology and information system technology, which are leading in the world.
