This is the moment a photographer accidentally crashed his drone into water in Malaysia.

Naven Narainamurthy was taking aerial footage of the scenic view in the Cameron Highlands in Pahang State on January 16 when his drone struck a power cable while flying.

The accident sent the gadget on a tailspin into a ditch, where it was retrieved by Naven in one piece.

The photographer said: 'Always be careful of where you fly. I have a few drones so I usually push mine to their limits. I don't mind if it breaks. I just rebuild it.'
