Passersby in Chongqing worked together to rescue a kitten that was trapped on a high ledge on a building.

The video features a kitten precariously trapped on a platform high up on a street wall, unable to get down on its own due to the height.

Below the platform, two passing boys stood on chairs together holding a plastic board aloft in anticipation of catching the kitten as it jumped down, and a girl kept playing cat calls on her cell phone to entice the kitten.

Eventually, the kitten plucked up the courage to jump as expected. With the concerted efforts of the crowd, it was steadily caught by the plastic board and safely placed on the ground.
