Several residents slide down a drain pipe to escape a raging apartment fire in Moscow on September 23.

The blaze erupted out of building 27 on Kastanaevskaya Street and among the chaos a 5-year-old sustained injuries and was hospitalised.

The blaze originated in an apartment within building 27 on Kastanaevskaya Street. Startling footage circulated online, capturing the desperate attempts of residents to escape by descending down drainpipes from their apartments. Amidst the chaos, a five-year-old child sustained injuries and was promptly hospitalized. The fallen person was hospitalized as well.
