This is a remarkable video capturing the moment a boa constrictor was safely removed from the ceiling of a restaurant in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Diners had to evacuate the area when they discovered the snake coiled around wooden rafters in the open-air restaurant on October 11.

The video shows three military police officers working together to extract the snake from the ceiling. One officer, positioned on a ladder, used a hook to carefully capture the snake and prevent it from latching onto him. In the process, there's a tense moment when the snake darts forward, attempting to bite the officer, but he skillfully avoids the strike.

With the crowd of diners looking on nervously, the officers manage to disentangle the snake from the rafters. Finally, they carry the snake away to the applause of the relieved diners.

It's important to note that boa constrictors are not venomous, but their bites can cause painful puncture wounds. The snake was reported to be in good health and was sent to a Wild Animal Screening Center for evaluation before being released back into the wild.
