The parents of a US airman killed in a Norfolk helicopter disaster have made an emotional visit to the marshes where their son died.
Captain Sean Ruane’s parents Mike and Marsha were visiting on the second anniversary of the Cley air crash, which killed four personnel flying a training mission from RAF Lakenheath.
Colleagues from the 56th Rescue Squadron, including Lt Col Bernard Smith, laid flowers during a short memorial service, and paid tribute to the support they received from the people of Norfolk.
