On October 25, 2023, in the Moscow region, an incident unfolded at the Podsolnechnaya station that led to the detention of a 54-year-old repeat offender. A verbal altercation between two individuals escalated when the assailant resorted to violence, beating his victim with a stick. In a bid to escape the enraged attacker, the victim threw his bag and took refuge under the turnstiles. Seizing the opportunity, the assailant collected the abandoned bag, which contained 5,000 rubles and personal items. Law enforcement swiftly identified and detained the suspect, who confessed to the crime. The investigation has since initiated a criminal case related to this incident, and the offender is now under recognizance not to leave the area.
