"Hi, welcome to the Honduran pavilion. It has been our first time (to take part in the CIIE). We are representing our traditions, and overall, our gastronomy and our products. The CIIE will help us engage new connections between our local businessmen and entrepreneurs, and help our people back home, giving them more jobs, giving them new income, and making our prosperity in our country, generating lower poverty in our country, and overall, helping us produce more products in our country and export them to the new markets."

Honduras is one of the five guest countries of honor at the sixth China International Import Expo, bringing products such as tobacco, coffee, and cocoa.
