A book distribution festival titled "I Am Iraqi, I Read" was held on Saturday in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
About 40,000 books were distributed to Iraqi people for free during the event, which came within the framework of ongoing efforts to motivate young people to read and effectively use their time to acquire new knowledge.
Since its first edition in 2012, the festival has been staged each year in different provinces across the country.
