Info from Licensor: "I traveled to Estes Park to go to Rocky Mountain National Park with a friend who hadn't been out there in a long time. My friend Jill wanted to see elk, and we didn't see many in the park, so on the way back through Estes I went by the golf course. This is a usual hangout for them. Although, there were only a few that day. When heading back out to the main road, I looked down the street just north of the golf course and saw this herd of elk on the front lawns of several houses. This is just typical for Estes Park. I have seen them several times in different places in town."
