STORYLINE:

A China-Singapore nursing home in the Jiefangbei area in China's Chongqing has provided a series of smart solutions for elderly care.

The ECON BLB Elderly Care and Service Center of Jiefangbei is a joint-venture project between a private nursing home provider in Singapore and a Chinese company. 

The center has 44 beds, and incorporates innovations such as an automated robotic kitchen and an intelligent eldercare panel which monitors the elderly around the clock.

In addition to providing services for the elderly, the center also helps senior citizens at home through intelligent means.

"(We) provide medical services for the elderly at home in the community through electronic files, monitoring bracelets and other intelligent means. At the same time, we conduct systematic training and regular assessment for our social workers, nursing workers and volunteers to ensure their professional level.
Through the integration of various medical resources, we provide various services such as diet, medication, sports, psychological intervention and health education for the elderly residents."

"In order to improve the intelligent level of elderly care services, we have developed and used five types of intelligent management platforms for elderly care services, such as mobile phone apps, wearable smart devices, smoke detectors, leakage protector, etc., to provide real-time signs monitoring, physiological data analysis, daily activity reminders, emergency rescue hotline and other health services for these seniors in the area. Through remote consultations and video guidance, they can enjoy a comfortable retirement, fully benefiting from the convenience, efficiency, and safety brought about by modern smart elderly care solutions."
