An urban explorer has discovered an abandoned home filled with antique toys, including metal guns, a view master and old love letters.

Dave, known as Freaktography, discovered the home hidden behind some trees.

Exploring the dilapidated home, the basement had been flooded and the ceiling was caving in many places, but the home still holds treasures.

Sharing the post on YouTube, he gained over 1,800 views views from his 87,500 followers.

“It was a super old abandoned farmhouse, parts of the home have collapsed mainly the living room – it’s now in the basement,” Dave, from Ontario, Canada, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“There was one room in the house that was packed full of priceless antique toys from many decades ago.

“Toy cars, green plastic army men, a View Finder still in the box…

“I even found an envelope FILLED with very very old valentines!!”

Wandering through the property, the ceiling paint had severely peeled off, hanging down.

The entrance was guarded by a vintage cut-out of a man with a cigar, holding a tray for your keys.

Travelling upstairs, Dave discovered old tin cars, guns, army men and antique toys.

Boxes of school reports, board games and family photos had been left behind.

One person commented: “So freaking cool! The amount of history in that house is amazing. I honestly hope that stuff doesn't decay and get tossed in the landfill because it deserves to be preserved.”

Another viewer added: “Those toys look like they're from the 50's or 60's. Neat find!”

“I would love so much to explore a place like that!” wrote one person.

Pamela said: “You won’t see many toy guns nowadays. In fact water guns are called water blasters now.”

Bob added: “I haven't seen toys like some of these in years!! Way to go Dave!”
