SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese & English): KYMMBERLI STOWE, Psychological counselor at QSI International School of Dongguan
"Hello everyone, I'm Dr. Kymmberli Stowe. I come from America. I came to China with my dog who's also known as Xiaomeili."

"Here all the students along with the staff got together and decorated my window and door with messages from the students, either saying 'Thank you, Miss Sparkles' or 'Thanks for keeping us safe.' I like to keep them up because it's a constant reminder of why I do it."

Being a sports lover, Stowe has participated in various activities in Dongguan, such as boxing, dancing, and even dragon boating.

In her opinion, the city of Dongguan gives people a lot of possibilities.

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): KYMMBERLI STOWE, Psychological counselor at QSI International School of Dongguan
"Well, you know Dongguan is very diverse and it's open and it's comfortable. And it reminds me, you know, like a portion of home. We get to relax. And even when I am not in school, I am also out in community helping or somewhere doing something assisting somebody. And I think with such a city of such diversity, it allows for many possibilities. You know you're not closed off to one thing. There're endless things that you can do. I maybe a foreigner but I'm not an outsider. I live here. I work here. I play here."
