In a remarkable turn of events, Mexico City officers played a crucial role in assisting a woman in giving birth by the roadside in the Puebla neighbourhood, Venustiano Carranza mayor's office. The unexpected delivery unfolded on December 14, while officers were engaged in roadwork near the Rio de la Piedad Viaduct.

Responding to the distress call of a 25-year-old pregnant woman experiencing severe abdominal pain in her black vehicle, the police, well-versed in first aid, provided immediate assistance. They guided the woman through breathing exercises to alleviate contractions, showcasing both empathy and skill.

As the situation intensified, the officers continued their first aid measures, culminating in the successful birth of the baby. A dedicated policewoman took charge, cutting the umbilical cord and ensuring the newborn's safety.

Swiftly escorted by a patrol car, the mother and newborn were transported to the hospital, ensuring they received the specialized medical attention required for this unexpected but heartwarming roadside delivery.
