Philippines: Storm Jelawat Makes Landfall In Mindanao, Brings Heavy Rains And Flooding
Tropical Storm Jelawat (local name Kabayan) weakened to a tropical depression and as it made landfall in Davao Oriental on Monday morning, December 18.
Many provinces in the Mindanao and Visayas regions remained under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) 1, as well as some areas in southern Luzon.
