A plane passenger was repulsed by a man who was sticking his dirty foot through the seat gap.

Footage shows the smelly foot in white socks pressing against the plastic next to the window as flight AI336 was about to take off in New Delhi, India on December 21, going to Bangkok.

The passenger on the Air India flight could not comfortably rest on the chair because of the rude man - who had his foot there for an hour of the four-hour journey.

She said: ‘The Indian passenger stuck his foot through the seat on my flight from New Delhi to Bangkok.

'I felt sick and wanted to vomit. His feet smelled. I just could not understand how someone could be so inconsiderate of the people around them.'

The passenger, a 25-year-old female, said she did not want to confront the man and waited for him to move his feet while onboard the Airbus A320.

She said: 'His foot was there for about an hour. I had spent 10 days in northern India so I had seen some of the bad behaviour of the locals, but I did not expect this on a plane.'
