A stray cat has been adopted after a video of the feline went viral on TikTok with viewers making comparisons to Dobby from the "Harry Potter" films.

TikTok user @othersideofuupuuttt captured the clip of the adorable feline in Garut, Indonesia.

The filmer told Newsflare: "This is a unique cat that I first found in Indonesia, the shape of its ears is not like other cats, some say it looks like Baby Yoda and some say its ears look like Dobby from 'Harry Potter'.

"When I just uploaded it on my TikTok account, it turned out that the cat video went viral and reached 50 million views and 7 million likes.

"Many people wanted to adopt the cat, but not long after the video went viral, someone had adopted the cat and I was sad because at first I wanted to take care of it."

The clip quickly went viral and viewers were quick to notice to resemblance to Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda, from "The Mandalorian".

"Baby Yoda? Is that you?" said one viewer.

Another said: "Is that baby Yoda reincarnated?"
